Pros
So, I have read many of these reviews on here and I would like to clarify a few things.... Yes our Pharmacies are busy, yes we do not have many hours to do tasks (considering my store is a minimum hour store of 202 hours.) But the primary focus of the company is to "help people on their path to better health". This company has innovated everything there is to do in the retail pharmacy. Delegation is a beautiful thing, most managers will complain on "not enough hours in the day" because they try to do the job themselves. So, if you are lucky like I am and have a manager that will allow you to run the store and set you up for advancement (Which I was told recently is in the works), then your team will thrive in excellence. The atmosphere and moral of a TEAM working together will allow for a better experience. That is why I say it is what you make of it. If you are hired as a Clerk/Cashier, you are actually being hired to do a lot more. As a manager, I rely on my cashiers, just as much as I rely on my Shifts.
Cons
If you look at any job in CVS as just a job, this will not work out for you. Pay is the biggest thing, but they are actually trying to remedy that with high pay rates to new colleagues. This company does not give you a budget for training of new colleagues, so training is rushed for new colleagues.
