Challenges start day 1. HR will give you about a 30 minute run through of benefits and an outdated copy of an employee handbook because the company has at this time been working on an updated version for about one year now. You will be placed in your role with a brief explanation of your area and expected to begin with no other training. There are no policies or standards except when visitors are coming. There is no support from HR. The hourly workers morale is gone beyond repair and reflects in the work produced. Schedules change with no notice or consideration. Promotions are handed out just to fill spots. Managers have no trust in supervisors yet they fail to coach, motivate, and train them which in turn leads them down a path of failure.
