      the department culture was great and really tried to create learning opportunities for grad students

      Cons

      The institution doesn't value grad assistants as they should. Grads do a large portion of the Student Affairs work at CSUF Fullerton and are not paid a living wage for the sate/area they live/work/study in. They also need work on being anti-racist and listening/protecting students.

      •Making Connections •Gain experience in public institutions on how things work around here.

      Cons

      •Management could be so entitled. When I was a staff member, leadership sees you as trash. Leadership could be scary! It’s all about reputation here so be careful and stay on the low. Just do your work and leave.
