The organisation has an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Hub and has created a several network spaces - Cultural and Ethnic Minorities and Allies, LGBTQ+ and Allies, and Disabilities and Carers and Allies, these are safe and confidential networks for colleagues to discuss and share ideas and experiences.

Small friendly community team, apart from one awful manager

Cons

The Dietetic department was an awful place to work due to the manager micromanaging staff and being very bossy with a superior attitude. As a qualified professional this is uncalled for. After being criticised in an appraisal with no justification and no prior discussions, I felt I had no option but to leave. Other staff members also felt the same and there was a bit of an exodus. Shame as it was a nice place to work without this particular manager.
