      - Lot of opportunities for domain learning(Life and P&C Insurance in my case) - Software methodologies followed to the core, which help the new entrants to learn a lot about writing effective software code - Chilled out culture, not too many deadlines hanging on your neck. Onshore teams are nice to work with mostly

      Cons

      - Cost cutting in recent times had made the life bit difficult - Monetary growth remains sluggish unless you get opportunities to move to onshore locations

      Pros

      Good benefits including 401(k) with company match.

      Cons

      Unrealistic workload. The pay does not match the amount of stress that comes from the amount of work given. They are hiring new employees for the same role offering about $30k-$40k more than they pay those who have been there for years instead of compensating current employees fairly. Management is out of touch. They are so focused on numbers that they cannot clearly see the internal issues that are compromising relationships with customers.
