Pros
Interesting clients and opportunities to say that you've worked with cross-functional teams, diverse clients, and even juggling multiple tasks at once. Flexible with remote work.
Cons
Very elitist culture and very little respect for interns. You are paid a yearly salary instead of an hourly salary because they will not pay you overtime, although the job requires odd and long hours beyond a typical 9-5. Having a social life is next to impossible, and expressing capacity often gets overlooked. Saying that you are feeling overwhelmed gets met with remarks that its just part of the job. There is an expectation to drop everything and abandon any plans (including weekends) when it comes to the client. Obviously, interns do not earn commission for any client work, although they put in just as much effort as consultants.
