National boutique with hands on approach to clients, so lots of practical experience. A fast way to the c-suite. No vacation policy, if you are capable of managing a $400m company you can manage your own time. Lots of mentoring with partners and many cycle of learning. Not unusual to work 4-5 clients a year. Lots of transparency, everyone gets financials.

Lots of travel. A small firm with 60 people so everyone does everything, no where to hide. Merit based comp and promotions, a lot of daylight between poor and best performers.

-Great exposure to Rx & Turnaround, good modeling and client engagement experience. Great overall opportunity. -Work on decent-sized deals -Right behind the top 3-4 or so advisory shops, so lots of meaningful experience/smaller teams, meanwhile, feels like you're at a reputable organization -Holiday retreats at vacation spots

-Can be make or break based on which projects or MDs you are assigned to -Great people on one hand, but also can be staffed with untrustworthy MDs. In my experience, certain MDs prioritized their own interests over the team’s success and back-stabbed -Like any other corporate consultant practice growing too fast, people look out for themselves. Not collegial. Feedback inconsistent.
