Pros
Decent pay for job that requires no previous training and only a GED.
Cons
Work can be very fast paced with managers having little sympathy over workload. Can sometimes be long hours (12+ hours to a maximum of 18) Older employees who have worked their a long time can sometimes be very rude especially to new inexperienced employees. New employees will typically be on a "spareboard" meaning you are basically on call making it difficult to plan activities, sleep schedule etc. Work load is heavily dependent on commodity prices and needs meaning if oil tanks then expect a lay-off.
