Pros

COMP is a well-known name in automotive, so it looks great on a resume to have worked here! Coworkers were generally nice. Health benefits decent.

Cons

-Three days of vacation for the year starting out. No sick days. -Micromanaging and turnover is high! You better catch on quick, it’s sink or swim.

Pros

If you're looking to gain automotive knowledge and hang out with other car enthusiasts, this is an okay place to start. Staff is relaxed, generally friendly and helpful, yet get frustrated quickly after needing help repetitively.

Cons

Fight for every bit of salary you can get. You won't get a sales ID for 3 months. And even then you only get 5% commission on NEW accounts you sign up. With that in mind, have your mind set of being at least a year before decent monthly bonuses begin rolling in. All bulk orders end up being given to the seasoned staff since you won't have the "experience to work with pricing." Vacation.. where? 3 days a YEAR. Want more? Work Saturday's to get 1 day in return, but you still worked, didn't ya? And the occasional car shows they send you to all expense paid? 2-4 day events only credit you back 1 day vacation, but don't even start until after your 5th event. A day at work. First month you're on a dual headset listening in on calls. Then you get your own computer and spend a month doing straight emails. After that you start doing live chats, yet still are expected the same email output results. Before you know it, you're on the phones (that never stop ringing) and still expected to blast out email responses that general get weeks behind incredibly quickly unless you sign in at home on your off hours. With all of this in mind, the employee turn over isn't a surprise.
