Pros
I'm not quite one year in and here is my take on the positives. The CEO and other leaders consistently report/update the staff on how we are doing and what is going on. This is also true at my department level. The company definitely walks the walk when it comes to volunteering and giving back, as well as the push for diversity and inclusion. There is an on-site health clinic in my office, I'd say it's more like a doctor's office with an M.D. on-site. That's a nice perk. And, I really haven't encountered significant barriers or obstacles that prevent me from doing my job. The fitness center (gym) is really nice with excellent equipment and plenty of room. I'm in the Carmel H.Q. location. Insurance is a new industry for me and I really know very little about it. The training courses that are provided have been very helpful at getting me up to speed on both the basics of this business as well as the nuances.
Cons
This is my first time on a high deductible health plan. The company does offer incentives that will off-set the out-of-pocket expenses. But, I'm just not a big fan of these kinds of benefit plans.
