Pros
CMC employs some of the most knowledgeable and skillful people it has ever been my privilege to work with. On the whole there is a high degree of professionalism and a very positive "can-do" attitude.
Cons
Unfortunately in addition to the positives there are some negatives. The company has some managers in key roles who operate in ways that wouldn't be tolerated in any other company I've ever worked for. There are definitely "golden boys" and "golden girls" who have the ear of the CEO and can do no wrong; this is especially true of functions like sales, marketing and trading. The unglamorous but essential backroom functions get little or no credit. There is also a bullying culture in some parts of the company.
