Pros

Family Oriented business. Puts associate satisfaction at the top of priority list. Believes in core values. Always preaching about safety first to ensure a safe environment so that you leave work the same way you came. Promote within the company. Strives for excellence each and every day. Standards are in place so that everyone can perform there jobs the way it's supposed to be performed. Offer great benefits and 401k plan. The list goes on.

Cons

Nothing really bad I can say about City Furniture other than I invested 16 years of my young life to this miraculous company and got to meet some amazing people throughout my years being here. Keith and Andrew are prime examples of how a business should run and they have a great team behind the scenes to incorporate the core values they set in place.

Pros

2020 and maybe 21,22 were good after it all went down hill (thanks to AH )

Cons

Everyone is related , friends , family etc. HR is all friends with eveyone there for you cannot be taken serious . So many talented associates leave because they are forced out due to personal preference. Turn over company wide they say is low. However the location I worked in 80 precent of people were 6 month or under ! Yikes !!! Management does not know how to keep and lead their team , instead they micro manage , make up new rules that they do not follow after a few weeks and they always seem stressed. Oh and bonus program is constantly restructured . They present it as new opportunities however it’s really for them to pay less. This company always pays very low percentage and you have to jump through hoops that are on fire to make a bonus. And I wasn’t some employee who worked 6 months and quit. I was someone making 90k yearly for several years. This is just a reality. Higher management needs traning asap. And insurance gets worse every year !
