This is universal within the company, and regardless of the market, all of these comments apply.
* Poor commission/compensation structure, regardless of position. Talk to a couple of other agencies first and this will be easily verified!
* They use the equity you earn due to being an employee company as a selling point and a reason for the upfront/poor compensation plan. Anyone who joins now pretty much missed the boat. However, the ESOP equity is good if you plan to retire there and if you can hold out until you are in your 60's to collect it.
* They say they are not a "micro-managing" company yet every activity is measured by the minute and rated against peers.
* They claim they have one of the best turnover rates in the industry. Yes, they have tenured employees, but they don't tell you about the extremely high turnover rate during year one. They hire and will fire quickly.
* Top producers leave because they don't respect or trust the active leadership at the top.
* Leadership completely mishandled dealing with Covid. Several top producers left as a result.
* Flexibility leaves a lot of room for improvement.
* Diversity and inclusion is something to be recognized.
