Pros
Good people - most average employees are pleasant people to talk to. Everything else is simply average - time, work amount and difficulty, other companies offer similar or better.
Cons
Horrendous management - some have power trips, some smile at you then stab you in the back. Out of touch masquerade. Focus more on useless things like DEI than on actually improving the quality of life for their workforce. Horrible pay - work to pay ratio is out of whack on some contracts. You get to work less if you sucked up to the right people or if you have a reputation of having a below average IQ. You’ll work a lot more if you prove to them that you’re very capable, but don’t expect any appreciation at all, just more work than others. Terrible favouritism - some people get preferential treatment, even if it’s detrimental to the company, simply because they sucked up to the right people. Widespread apathy - due to management being out of touch, their decisions resulted in apathy epidemic, since most ground floor employees don’t care about anything other than putting their hours in and getting paid, while management keeps pushing for commitment from employees.
