Pros
Clocking out and free lunch
Cons
The leaders appear to be approachable, and the old "drop some time on my calendar" saying is baloney. Once my manager required we come in to the office, I noticed leaders and middle management only approached those they favor or know. I'm a reserved and quiet person and made every effort to change this while I was at the office to be able to build interpersonal relationships. I was disappointed when I was met with zero acknowledgment from a leader in my department. I tried to make eye contact, and before I could say hello, she cut her eyes, positioned her nose upward, and walked away. The same happened with my supervisor when I met her in person; she also did not seem invested in building a working relationship. Why have us come in then? The culture that I thought was here consists of cliques and is run by children.
