-Talent and investment process pales in comparison to the real top-tier shops -Best talent left to start their own firm -Team is built of risk-averse yes men, not top-notch investors and most are not marketable enough to find other opportunities -Investment team is focused on executing deals, not thoughtful research and investing -CEO rules with an iron fist, has a sharp temper, berates rest of team and listens to no one
