The teams are friendly, the work is challenging but fair, and the goal is important. Working in the IT side of things, we're leading the way in technological innovation in the community college space. Life/work balance is excellent. Expect copious amounts of PTO and sick leave, as well as understanding and kind managers.

As with any public sector job, the pay could be better.
