Pros
Decent pay for the work.
Cons
Not a real maintenance job. Your job will entail carrying out BS tasks for Amazon operations that are either completely ridiculous, or something that they can complete themselves, but would rather put it on maintenance... like cleaning their grill for a 4th of July cookout (yes, that really happened). CBRE management has no backbone and lets Amazon walk all over us with these mindless tasks by saying “yes” to EVERYTHING. The job consists of probably less than 10% real maintenance that entails repairing equipment, less that 1% actually troubleshooting and solving problems, and the rest consists of, moving desks, cleaning grills, cutting legs on tables because they’re too tall?, and attempting to baby-proof the facility because Amazon will not hold their own employees accountable for behavioral issues. This is where careers come to die. Also, on top of all that... the health insurance is extremely expensive and absolutely terrible.
