      Pros

      CBRE company has been a good company to work for, they are worldwide and with that can offer opportunities.

      Cons

      The ownership of the portfolio can have drastic impact on the experience. 2 years in a row of pay raise freeze for everyone on the portfolio cause compensation issues and ability to attract quality staff, and lack of funds to maintain buildings that cause frustration from equipment failures and tenant relations. Property management staff are rewarded while Engineering staff many times become the stooge; No seat at the table and left out in the cold as a second thought.

      Pros

      The company has a great mentor program. You will meet colleagues who do amazing things like write books, receive leadership awards, and write checks to nonprofits that really need the help.

      Cons

      I really have no complaints. I am still in contact with many of my colleagues there.

      They provide a wealth of learning materials to further your career.

      Cons

      My experience was that upper management does not understand what those in lower level positions do, and they don't take advantage of experience and knowledge of those below them to make strategic decisions.
