Pros

You get to meet some new and interesting people

Cons

the insurance is awful (expensive), they will work you to death (Wouldn't allow me to take off for a wedding I had planned for before I got the job), on top of it all, I was new to the industry, and they wouldn't train the employees

Thank you for your feedback. Although we do not like to hear that any of our associates had a negative experience, we do want to hear how we can improve. We are sorry that your experience was not positive as we have been focused on providing better training for our employees and have received quite a bit of positive feedback for our efforts. We also offer a number of different options to our associates for health care to try to make it as affordable as possible. If you would like to discuss specific frustrations, we encourage you to contact our Human Resources Manager at lynn.holt@carrollmg.com.

Pros

Proper training is provided upon starting and the access for learning tools are right at your fingertips. Open door policy. I never felt scared to reach out to higher up corporate representatives for assistance with anything. My manager also encouraged me to if they were ever unable to assist me with a specific issue or inquiry. I’ve worked at other companies that are very hush hush and stay far away from contact with those who work onsite. Annual increases are given.

Cons

Most of the properties were open on Sunday from 1pm-5pm (worst shift ever). Not sure if that’s changed since I worked there, but I believe no property should be open on Sundays unless it’s a lease up and only for a short while until the occupancy is up.
