Pros
the salary is pretty good for this kind of work. Quick interviewing process. If you like to teach and interact with students then this would be a rewarding job. There's no communication between the parents and the tutors so that there would be no confrontation. Only the center manager can talk to the parents. Tutor in small groups to ensure that each kid gets the most out of the lessons and enable one on one tutoring. Sometimes if you are only tutoring one child, the child you are tutoring will be transferred to other tutors. During this time you will not be paid even though you showed up to work.
Cons
There is a lack of communication between the staff and the tutors. The interview and what was said at the training was different. THe training was useless and way too long. Not enough time to prepare for classes therefore might give kids the wrong information. THe dress is business casual for tutors but not for the other staff. THe environment seems too uptight for a tutoring school when it should be relaxed so that the kids will feel comfortable. Sometimes have to drive to centers taht are too far because there is a shortage of teachers and they dont provide gas money.
