Pros
BTP is a great IT services company to work for, with offices in NYC and San Francisco. The company has a pedigree of sophisticated customers in financial services, healthcare, legal, retail, and hospitality. The company does not do a lot of marketing, most of the customers come via the leadership team's personal network and word-of-mouth referrals. Many customers of their managed services business have been with them for over a decade and many customers on the project side are repeat customers that have worked with the firm since the late 90's and early 2000's. It's a closely held business with and incredible track record. The company puts the customers first and it really shows. The go the extra mile to get things done quickly and often handle any emergencies or items that require downtime off-hours. Happy clients = happy and prosperous team.
Cons
The only challenging thing about working at BTP is common to all top IT consulting businesses and IT support (MSPs and MSSPs). Some positions require late hours (on call IT support roles), weekend work can be common. Often projects require off-hours work. That said, the management team values the contributions of the employees and staff and rewards hard work accordingly.
