Pros

Writing a brief review here to warn any Sr professionals to get involved in this firm. Company is operating like a startup. Some Directors lack experience and likely wouldn't have that title in a different Agency but quickly got promoted from intern/assistant here. In my experience - as a Sr you're basically there to train well liked team members across departments (in addition to your regular tasks so you're overworked) before the toxic narcissistic energy either makes you quit, burn out, or you're pushed out and replaced!

Cons

Worst work experience of my entire life. Never been more used, underpaid and taken advantage of for my services.

Thanks for updating this post’s job title. Presenting these comments under “Anonymous Intern” was misleading so appreciate Glassdoor’s fraud control. First, I want to thank you again for your contribution to the organization. You were brought in to lead a restructuring of our operations and many of the processes and systems you implemented have had a lasting positive effect on the organization and we continue to grow because of them today. That said, it’s important to provide some context to your comments here: As a Sr. professional, based on your consulting experience, you were given the latitude to set your own schedule, define steps needed to reach mutually defined restructuring goals and control your workload. When issues did arise, you are encouraged to take vacation or reduce your workload. One of your first steps was to fire the existing HR resource - who was not replaced - and take on those responsibilities for the duration of your employment. When you asked, you were given the 25% raise you requested without hesitation making you the highest paid employee in the organization. After complaints of bullying, name-calling, and late night outbursts on internal channels, we mutually agreed that you should move on. As for the Director you are calling out, they continue to lead the team by supporting their colleagues, winning new business in a turbulent economy, leading our largest global accounts and garnering multiple client accolades. They are, hands-down, one of the best hires this organization has made in its 17 years of existence. Carlson CEO

Pros

I have thoroughly enjoyed contract work for bully! Entertainment. They have clear processes and procedures for tracking the work and communication amongst team members. The Creative Director and Project Managers have been especially helpful when I have questions. The management and organization of projects therefore makes the work enjoyable, where I can simply focus on creativity and craftsmanship, without any unnecessary office politics or wasted time. The information I receive at project kickoffs are thorough and clear and all the resources I need to perform the task are made available ahead of time. They are also very efficient with tracking their budgets and being very specific about the hours they have devoted to projects for me ahead of time. As a part-time contractor, I especially appreciate their flexibility and their willingness to accommodate any schedule requests. I also think they do an excellent job with matching contractors to tasks which maximizes successful completion of projects. I highly recommend this company for anyone wanting to work either full or part time on exciting, cutting-edge technology projects with a dynamic global team who respects individuals, encourages creativity and motivates the group to be the best at what it does.

Cons

The only con I can think of is not getting a chance to meet the team in person, but I guess that is the nature of remote contract work.
