Pros

The culture here is great, it's a lax yet professional environment where everybody works hard and gets their work done. They have plenty of different events to participate in throughout the year to get you away from your desk sometimes, and you will have a little fun at work. The benefits are nice as well with a generous PTO policy, and a floating birthday Holiday as well. They definitely care about professional development as they provide opportunities for career mobility, and advancement. They not only encourage you to get your designations you get paid bonuses for getting them as well. "Friendly Fridays" is worth an honorable mention when it comes to work life balance, which is the benefit of working only 5.50 hours every Friday jumpstarting the weekend.

Cons

The systems are a little dated which will make some of the work tedious. You will at times find yourself realizing you could be a lot more efficient if a few things were changed. The good thing is they are working on new applications that will be implemented in the next few years that should tackle some of the inefficiencies.

Pros

Builders Mutual seemed like a generally decent company with good people. Overall, it may be a good fit for someone who prefers a stable, traditional corporate environment.

Cons

The technology culture felt somewhat old-school and slow to modernize. The company appeared uneven in its adoption of newer tools like AI and automation, and the hybrid work policy created frustration because some employees were required to come into the office while others were allowed to remain fully remote. It may feel limiting for someone looking for a more modern, flexible, and technology-forward workplace.
