- Unlivable base salary (Can't stress this enough. If you have student loans or pay car insurance, you will not be able to live within your means)
- Passive aggressive & authoritarian leadership, feels like you're in a bad relationship
- Commission percentages are no longer competitive (slashed)
- Micromanagement
- Can't speak transparently without running the risk of termination
- Weekly surveys that you have to lie to because you can't say you had a tough week ^^
- Favoritism
- Leadership will pick who calls on the 10-year top-producing account and who calls on 2 ice-cold accounts in the middle of a recession. If you're not a favorite, expect the latter!
- Full of gossip and bad mouthing behind people's backs, office culture is fine on the outside but toxic & cliqued on the inside
- Brooksource tries to compete with big-4 integrators but is by no means set up to do so.
- some coworkers look at you funny when you don't hang out with coworkers on weekends (can't have your own friends I guess)
- When you take over a warm account you're stuck managing all of the past contractors, can be 1 to 100, doesn't matter though because you'll never be compensated for supporting them even if it takes 40 hours a week
- If this is your first job after college, you only find out how problematic Brooksource is when you finally quit. They make it seem like everything is so much worse when it's quite the opposite
