Brookings has incredibly impressive scholars. They produce quality and interesting research.
Cons
Your experience will vary a ton depending on who you work for. There is no upward path for RAs. You basically have to leave after 2 ish years. It can be unclear and stressful where to go after Brookings, but most go to grad school.
