Pros
Broadcom has a very clear vision on how they want to be successful, and what it will take to make it happen. Much of this is long overdue, but was held up by the previous complacent leadership team.
Cons
With a clear vision and strategy that is fundamentally divergent from the previous VMW vision, and a no BS action plan to get there, change will be difficult for many long-time VMW employees.
