Pros
BCBA's are supportive, skilled, and knowledgeable. Kiddos are adorable, fun to work with, and low-magnitude.
Cons
It's a very "clicky" social climate where either you are a part of the "in-crowd" or almost no one will speak to you all day nor offer support when you need it. This also goes for the Leads as they offer very little assistance (giving bathroom breaks, making learning materials, etc.) if you are not in the "in-crowd". Very unreliable schedule where clients call off a lot, often with very little notice (10-15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session). HUGE preferential treatment for full-time employees. If you are part-time you are sent home to lose an entire day of pay when your client calls off, but your FT peers get to stay and do admin duties for pay when their client calls off. In EVERY instance of raising my concerns, management met me with excuses and offered no solutions nor compromises.
