Pros
I wouldn’t give this company the satisfaction of receiving a single “pro.”
Cons
This company is the most corrupt establishment I’ve ever worked for. They do not care about anything except for pushing sales. They are unethical and dishonest in their sales practices. They promote anybody to be a manager, despite their level of experience, or even basic common sense. I’ve never seen management with such a lack of intelligence. They give unattainable sales goals, and the only reps that meet or exceed those goals are the ones practicing on ethical sales methods. For example, it is not uncommon for a rep to tell a customer that they can get a “free phone,” without disclosing to the customer that they are tied to it for two years. Then they like to take the IMEI 2 on a mobile device and add it as a second line without telling the customer. And that’s just one absolutely horrible example of how they take advantage of the customer. Those reps also receive significant chargebacks for their malpractice. They are really good about making things sound better than they actually are. They will refuse to help a customer if they are trying to lower their bill. I watched them tell customers that they had no promotions available unless the customer added a service. That was completely false. They will micromanage you into oblivion. You can expect to receive group messages even on your days off, questioning any “lack of productivity” by your store. You are fully expected to work outside of your scheduled hours. During training, they looked at us like we were insane for asking if we could go home at 5:30 when training ended at 5. Oh, and also, they will keep your final commission check for 120 days after you quit working for them. Working for this company was the biggest mistake I could have made. I tried to give it a chance after coming from Comcast, and I regret every moment of it. I could have been well into another job by now if I wouldn’t have wasted my time by giving them a chance.
