Pros

I personally learned a lot working there, really built up my leadership skills and communication skills as they give you the opportunity to learn hands on

Cons

Although there is fast growth, it is not easy work! But if you’re up for the challenge the reward is worth it

Pros

I am in the final days of my summer internship at BrandIQ, and overall, it was a highly valuable experience. Here are some of many pros of my internship at BrandIQ: 1. Learning Opportunities: The internship has provided me with numerous opportunities to work on real projects that were integral to the company. I gained hands-on experience in Market Psychology, Collective Impact, and Brand Strategy, which significantly enhanced my skills and understanding of Market Research and its application. 2. Supportive Team: The team at BrandIQ was incredibly welcoming and supportive. My manager and colleagues were always available to provide guidance and feedback, creating a collaborative and encouraging work environment. 3. Professional Development: BrandIQ invested in my growth by offering training sessions with senior members to help me gain a deep understanding of Market Research.

Cons

Overall, I do not feel that I have any cons to share. I was not pushed with too much work or information and my managers made sure that I always had a task to complete.

Pros

I cannot think of any pros for this experience.

Cons

I went to work for them, got hired, then on day 2, which are 10 hour workdays, I got suspicious that I had not given them any payment information or signed any payment information. They had me sign the outside sales exemption, then used that to refuse to pay me for the days I did work. I only got suspicious because I felt like I might not get paid, and that’s exactly what they did. I was in a full suit, in 95 degree weather, going door to door selling routers and even setting up routers for 20 hours in 2 days. They refused to pay me for any of that work. I quit because why I would when I am not getting paid? I even made a complaint to the NC Department of Labor, who said they already had a case against them and mine would be added to it.
