Pros
People I worked with were hard working, loyal and smart.
Cons
Decisions at the executive level are made only on short-term goals. There's no insight into long term products. The consistently would promise we'd be given resources to develop a product that might be market-competitive, and then before actually investing, they'd change directions. Leadership said they wanted to be involved in software (SaaS) but really had no clue how to do so. They also thought very highly of their labeling division and their software as being extremely complex when it was pretty simple, low-risk. On one of his first vistis to our building, the CEO at the time said he wanted to invest in us that he didn't believe we could "save our way to success"; yet that's exactly what we were asked to do every day. If someone left the company the rest of us were required to take on added responsibilities - then it would take 6-12 months for us to prove we needed to hire someone.
