The product owners and developers among the business divisions seem to be treated well and are a priority to receive resources, tools, and funding. The general company culture is positive with an upbeat friendly CEO.
Cons
The corporate IT environment is very disorganized due to misaligned teams and a few bull-headed managers who either do not understand nor will embrace change. There is generally a cynical negative attitude among corporate IT personnel. Culturally, business stakeholders do not trust Corporate IT further contributing to problems. The overall Corporate IT budget is within industry standards but money is spent poorly in the wrong places while investments are not considered in the right places. Performance ratings are distributed with a forced-curve which results in teams operating in silos. Teams are less encouraged to work together but rather compete with one another for performance ratings. Corporate IT leadership rewards the employees who look the busiest while neglecting the ones with progressive ideas. Leadership is obsessed with how well goals are worded versus the actual results.
