Pros

Small company, great location, with great job titles Flexible work environment (Until they try to hold it against you later on)

Cons

Brabble has a terrible reputation, and you will see why once you start working there (It is always best to do your online research, before getting involved with any company, especially a start-up). The CEO is not creative and has no idea how to run a company. The CEO and CMO keep stressing about "being a team player and the importance of team work", but neither of them know how to act like a member of a team.... EXAMPLES: The CEO is unable to take constructive criticism from his employees. He gets very defensive, and he thinks he knows everything when he clearly knows very little (The app is in the exact same place, where it started. Some might even argue that it is even more irrelevant, than it was before). The CEO is very aggressive, unprofessional, and doesn't have very good people skills. His personality is very sketchy, and immediately you question if you're interviewing / working for a legitimate company. He feels the need to throw around all these Z list celebrities from the early 2000's that he's acquainted with, to impress people in this office (None of us are impressed, nor should we be). The CMO is a genuinely nice person and he's very smart, but has a tendency to backstab and report information to the CEO behind his team's back, to save himself and screw other people over (Trust and authenticity is everything within a start-up environment, and you can't successfully build a company from the ground up without it. Especially when you have the best talent you will ever get moving forward). The proposed Brabble CFO, has not been with the company in months (Even though it is constantly expressed in the office that he is still with the company). As of right now, his picture is listed on their website (Highly misleading). Apparently, the CGO on the West Coast left this year. A highly connected professional, who does editorial work for various major media outlets (Not good Brabble..Not good). Contracts are not followed, and they will come up with a bunch of lies to get out of paying you what you're owed. Allegedly, they owe a tremendous amount of money to past employees (We have all spoken with each other, and are all in touch). Freelancers are careless, do not work hard, nor do they care to follow assignment directions after, it's been explained to them several times out of courtesy (This makes it harder for the team involved to get work done properly and without stress).

Pros

Work-life balance. Fun atmosphere. Great pay. Innovative ideas and solutions...

Cons

I love working for Brabble. It’s a great company and has a great group of people involved. Just wish that I got involved earlier as I am now new to the team. But I definitely enjoy being driven to perform and be as effective as all the rest of the team here.

Pros

I came to Brabble as a data analyst a couple of years ago, watching for trends, seeing what people are looking at. Had the opportunity to branch out and do a few other things as well. Through working at Brabble I realized I’d like to get involved in project management. Because of how the company works there are a lot of opportunities to pick up new skills and try out new things. There’s a lot you can learn from building something new because you can try on a few hats. I watched the developers work and saw firsthand what it takes to build a company from the ground up. Working here has been a great experience.

Cons

In the early days, months and years there’s a lot of work and high expectations. Sometimes it seems thankless, but keeps in mind, you're building your own career and experiences, as well. If you can keep focused on developing your skills it makes it easier. The challenge for the company will be to keep up with the expectations of users in a space that’s dominated by huge players. Kind of like David and Goliath. But they have a good product, and I think it has a good future.
