Pros

Your final day at the company will be one of the best of your life.

Cons

Aggressive and rude management, think they are superior humans to their staff, and act as such. Rule by fear. They argue that because you are being paid to be there, that you must accept being treated poorly. Speak to you like children, but expect an adult's work. Do not expect any training. You will be given a list of work to do on your first day, and will be immediately criticised for any mistakes you make. You will be defined only by your productivity. You are simply a claim management system log-in ID, not a person. "Fire Fridays" - Directors regularly walk around the office at 16:50 on Fridays picking people off to tell them not to come back on Monday. Does not create a positive atmosphere. Middle-management simply "yes-people", who refuse not to side with Senior-management. Will parrot whatever line they are told to. Any attempt to back yourself / defend against management accusations pretty generally results in termination of employment.

Pros

Friendly colleagues and an ambitious business with clear growth aspirations. The company is investing in marketing and works closely with an external agency to support its digital and communications activity.

Cons

My experience was brief, but I found expectations, responsibilities and measures of success less clear than expected during onboarding. The role involved working across both internal teams and external partners, and prospective candidates may benefit from seeking clarity on reporting lines, decision-making responsibilities and how success will be measured during probation. The environment appeared to be relationship-driven, and new starters may find it helpful to spend time understanding existing ways of working and stakeholder dynamics. While I was encouraged to slow down, I had already begun developing new initiatives and external partnerships, which left me feeling that expectations around pace, priorities and role remit were not fully aligned from the outset. A more structured onboarding process, with clearer objectives and regular feedback during the early weeks, would help new employees settle into the role and understand where they can add value most effectively.

Pros

The plaza itself is nice to look at. Nothing else.

Cons

As a recent Law graduate, I was very excited about being offered My first legal job as a paralegal at bond turner. It turned out to be the worst experience I could have got myself into. There was a very small red flags at the start such as I wasn't asked for references, when I was offered the Job I was offered a paralegal position not legal assistant. This was later clarified that they seem to label individuals as different names and paralegals arnt really a thing. My induction day on the Monday was welcoming and very positive. However, once I arrived on Tuesday to my team (a team I wasn't originally supposed to be on), it was awful. It became apparent that the shadowing I was offered at interveiw wasn't going to happen. I had my own task list from day one with no one there to train me! There was no shadowing and when I was shown a complicated task it was expected I learnt it after being vaguely shown it once. No training or structure was ever provided. As the days went ahead, it became apparent the fee earners expected me to know most things despite only being there for a week! Again, no support. I was told I was 'thrown in the deep end' this is just a phase used to cover up the fact no training was every provided. There was a very clear 'clique' with many not being very welcoming considering it was my first week, they decided on my fate as soon as they seen me!The atmosphere was off aswell meaning the anxeity I developed in case mistakes were made was overwhelming and the workload was crazy. After 2 weeks I couldn't continue it and left. My advice from anyone who wants to apply/ accept a job here, is please don't. I personally quit my part time job for this role, only to quit and be left with no income for the time being. My confidence was knocked ontop of that. The whole experienced I just felt so judged when all I wanted to do was start Mt legal career and show my potential! I have never had an issue with employment before this experience. If you are reading reveiws now looking for a job, stay well away from here as its simply an awful way to run a law firm. The issue of pay is also a massive factor with many people with same job with totally different pay!
