Higher up corporate leader often absent and disengaged, offering little to no meaningful support. Quick to throw you under the bus or say “I didn’t know” & “as well”. Instead of celebrating success, there’s a tendency to undermine high-performers and point blame. Huge egos, always on a power trip yet, disoriented, lost, and confused. Makes accusatory remarks without evidence, or thought, which creates a very toxic environment and makes it difficult to build trust. Professional growth is nonexistent, and innovation is discouraged. Upper corp Leaders feel threatened and need their egos stroked. Feedback culture doesn’t exist. Upper leadership leans more toward criticism and negativity than development, with little recognition of people-first leadership and different, positive leadership styles. Racism, and favorable treatment for specific individuals definitely exist. Overworked and extremely underpaid
