Pros

they hire really great people, small company so you get lots of opportunity to take on more responsibility and learn a lot, beautiful product, good discount, decent spending account for benefits

Cons

underpay and underappreciate their employees, work you to the bone with little regard for your mental or physical health, made us feel guilty for taking any time off (even if it was a sick day or emergency), owner would talk behind people's backs and used manipulative tactics to get people to quit so they didn't have to pay severance, more concerned with looking like a great company than being a great company, punished anyone who pointed out how bad the management was

Pros

The team was not openly hostile, just exhausted as everyone else.

Cons

. The company demanded results without providing any functioning systems or tools to achieve them. . There was no working CRM, no reliable tracking system, and nor real infrastructure to support the role. . Employees were left without clear processes documentation, or structured workflows, creating constant confusion. . Much of the workday was spent trying to interpret unclear expectations due to lack of guidance . Training and resources were minimal to nonexistent, leaving employees Unsupported and underprepared. . Equipment and internet were unreliable, causing frequent delays, downtime, and lost productivity. . Leadership had no clear answers because proper systems were never established in the first place.

Pros

other than the discount.. not much.

Cons

Where to begin… - upper management are bullies, mean girls, do not practice what they preach. - will constantly reiterate that bluboho is a loving and caring place for all, then talk bad about you behind your back - they dangle the carrot in terms of growth within the company just to never act on it - sales goals are unrealistic and if not hit, employees are blamed - unrealistic expectations of customer service - direct management is constantly turning over and unorganized. - guilt tripping from upper management - guilt tripping from management in general, your basically going to be running the store by yourself - sales associate does not mean your just sales focused, you are held responsible for EVERYTHING and when you get overwhelmed and speak up on this, you get fired. - no boundaries at all, time off requests denied with no reasoning, if your part time do not expect them to honor your days off / that you made unavailable. - changing your schedule may result in firing
