Pros

you meet dope people who are all smart enough to realize this company is full of frauds.

Cons

• disgustingly underpaid... way, way underpaid • leadership isn’t qualified enough to even be an executive assistant let alone “oversee” a man entire department • morgan: sis, smile at the people who are keeping your company afloat because you sure are NAWT • love: go sit down somewhere • did i mention underpaid? • disorganization almost makes you feel like you’re in a parallel universe 60% of the day, everyday • transportation/parking: previous reviews (which were very high key paid for) say “that’s just dtla”. which is a lie. this company is too cheap to cover the costs of the employee’s commute to work. it comes out of your paycheck. a pathetic tragedy. • snacks: el oh el... that applesauce in a tube and flavorless oatmeal ain’t it. I’m good luv, enjoy. • cheap: don’t invest in any softwares • underpaid • people quit before and after lunch everyday and the company tries to pretend nothing is happening • contractors: they make it clear you’re nowhere near being a member of the blavity family

Pros

The health insurance wasn't a nightmare to navigate.

Cons

Blavity's micromanagement was absolutely suffocating. I literally could not send a client email without someone questioning my word choice or demanding to know why I included that person on the thread. Every single decision got routed through some approval chain and nobody would even explain why they said no, just "not approved" and silence. I started to feel like my manager was waiting for me to fail, like the hiring process was a mistake and now I had to prove myself every single day all over again. By my third month there I completely stopped suggesting anything because every idea got was the kind of slow trust erosion where you don't notice it happening until you realize you've already mentally checked out.
