Pros
- Some of the people you work with day to day are actually nice and do try to do their jobs best they can. - Pay is fair for the most part. Although, I did take a slight cut for someone with my experience and background - Launching employee resource groups and doing better to bring some work/life balance with employee appreciation days
Cons
- Title says it all. The middle management is not up for the task or just very ill-prepared. These leaders need more formal people leader training, probably most unprofessional group of leaders I’ve worked with in my career. If you come from well ran successful companies, BHN will be foreign to you. I couldn’t leave soon enough. - There was lack of direction, which means a lot of confusion on task and responsibilities, wasting time on meaningless projects, and some departments treat the stressful chaotic days as the norm or “the BHN way” which is what fuels the turnover problem.
