Pros
- Good client roster (when they can keep the clients) - Opportunity to foster beneficial relationships with editors, stylists, etc.
Cons
- Upper management does not know how to communicate with those who work for them. The verbage used is incredibly abusive and completely unnecessary. - Mental health of employees is of no concern to upper management - Co-workers actively attempt to sabotage others within the company, regardless if you are trying to work to the same goal. - Long hours (I would work well into the morning, sometimes to 3, 4 or 5 am) - When employees try to address issues within the company/team the issues raised are never heard and there is no action taken to remedy the situation - Upper management constantly talks about the possibility for promotions but it rarely ever happens, I believe it's a ploy to try to get employees to stay on longer - Irregular treatment of employees - clearly some received special treatment - Contracts are not upheld on the side of the employer - PTO is not respected, I worked through 95% of the vacations I took - Took on new clients constantly without making new hires resulting in a lower quality of work & exhausted employees
