Company was bought out. Leadership/ management was a terrible experience. Management has the attitude of do as I say not as I do. Communication was at all-time low with management. The culture will never change. 4 CEO’s 8-12 vp’s, and countless managers who have no leadership skills. It was an embarrassment to work at Black box.
The new Vice President, who was there maybe 3-5 times a year, did not even know there is a difference between standard cat5 cable and cat5e cable.
Basic leadership skills I learned throughout my life
Loyalty - no loyalty to the employees. They will throw you under the bus to make themselves look good.
Duty- no one on the sales team knew their duties, because of awful communication.
Integrity- no integrity with management. Quick to blame anyone., and never took accountability
Selfless service- ha, no one in the company even knows what it actually means
Honor- nothing honorable about giving promotions to people that do not work hard
These are basic leadership skills that one must acquire to lead a company.
Culture was all Black Box talked about, but the culture is for upper management to make ridiculous amounts of money that they truly did not deserve.
I don’t have enough words to describe the cons.
Just a total cluster of a company . I feel bad for the hard working employees in sales and customer service that do not benefit of the non-Hard working individuals at the top.
