Pros

Involved upper level who strive to make Birgo a place you want to work. Will acknowledge high performance team members. Competitive pay and time off policies Good people at all levels

Cons

Small company with big dreams so finances can be an issue more than you would hope for at the maintenance/construction level but it always works out.

Thank you for the honest and thoughtful review. It is great to hear that our focus on competitive pay and building a high-performance culture is making an impact. Our people are our biggest asset, especially when navigating the natural ups and downs of the real estate market. Your point about the 'small company with big dreams' is well taken. Scaling a business comes with real challenges, and we know that those financial puzzles often affect the onsite teams. We appreciate your patience as we work through it. Your advice to keep the right people in the right seats is spot on, We look forward to growing together!

Pros

Genuinely positive experience for me overall. The culture here feels very supportive, collaborative, and mission-driven. There’s a strong emphasis on teamwork and employees feeling valued. Leadership genuinely listens and cares. Owners and senior leaders engage with employees, seek feedback, and demonstrate a sincere interest in development and growth. They invest in tools like StrengthFinder and personality assessments to help ensure people are in the right seats and continue to learn and improve professionally. It’s clear leadership wants you to succeed and often acknowledges contributions at both individual and team levels. Birgo creates and executes opportunities for team outings and social connection, which reinforces a sense of community.

Cons

As a growing company, sometimes formalized processes and structure lag behind the expectations. This can lead to occasional inefficiencies or lack of clarity until new systems/procedures are put in place.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. It genuinely means a lot. I’m really glad your experience has felt positive and supportive — that’s exactly the kind of environment we’re intentionally trying to build. Hearing that the culture feels collaborative and mission-driven is encouraging, especially because that doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of a lot of people showing up with care and integrity every day. I also appreciate you calling out leadership engagement and development. We truly believe people do their best work when they feel seen, supported, and in the right seat — and we’re committed to continuing to invest in that. Your feedback on structure and processes is also fair. Growth does stretch systems, and we know we’re still building the plane in some areas while flying it. We’re actively working on strengthening clarity and consistency as we scale, and input like this helps us prioritize where to focus. And thank you for the advice — we absolutely plan to keep listening and engaging. That’s not something we ever want to outgrow. Really appreciate you sharing!
