Pros

Benefits are great but work life balance is dependent on who you work for and isn’t the same across the entire company.

Cons

Favoritism and politics hinder any ability to progress your career unless you’re already senior staff. Culture has become very toxic because of this. There’s a huge leadership team with very poor top down leadership happening and a huge pay gap between those actually doing the work and those “leading”.

Pros

Biocom California has proven to be an influential voice in an industry that has faced incredible challenges from COVID and economic downturns. We provide resources and hope for companies that are starting to companies that are large and established. We have a collaborative environment that is flexible, supportive, and energetic. My role helps members stay connected with all of the resources available to succeed. The South San Francisco office is conveniently located right in the heart of the birthplace of biotechnology with plenty of resources such as a gym, parking garage, and restaurants on site. My experience is valued and allowed to be exercised with full confidence from the leadership team.

Cons

We need to find a way to onboard new and relevant resources for members faster. Additional resources are needed to support the pillars in the Bay Area.

Pros

There is a very good work environment at Biocom. Everyone is friendly and helpful. There are not only great benefits in this company but also very good team ethics. Overall positive experience in my time here so far.

Cons

There are no cons that I can think of as of this moment. (Maybe the office being a little cold).
