Pros
The company contributes a lot to the Canadian bio-economy and is making a difference in the industry. Flexible hours and working remotely anywhere in Canada!! Wellness days that you can take as religious days ( I personally haven’t seen many companies doing that). Great company culture!! As a newcomer finding a job in my field was overwhelming but BioTalent Canada leads by example and doesn’t care about having “ the Canadian experience” the most important for the management is having the skills and being a good fit for the company culture. My manager and VP are always open to discussing new ideas and care about the team’s mental health and well-being over any deadlines. The CEO is very close to the team and is only one message away, to discuss work or chat with him about anything. And for me the most important was working every day with amazing people, a diverse team very friendly and helpful.

The workload can sometimes be heavy but my manager was always available to support and push deadlines if needed
