Regrettably, I must express that this has been the most challenging and disheartening work environment I have encountered in my career to date. Prior to joining the organization, I had heard numerous concerns from former employees and industry peers. Initially, I assumed these accounts were perhaps overstated or misrepresented. However, upon direct experience, I found not only that these concerns were well-founded, but that they only scratched the surface of deeper, systemic issues within the company. Despite over a decade of growth and several acquisitions, the company's internal culture has remained largely stagnant. From my own experience and conversations with former colleagues across various international offices, a consistent pattern emerged: employees frequently feel undervalued, unheard, and disengaged. There is a pervasive absence of inspiration and genuine leadership, which severely impacts morale and productivity. What is particularly troubling is the presence of subtle but deeply harmful behaviors that resemble workplace bullying—often difficult to immediately recognize but deeply manipulative and detrimental over time. Unfortunately, employee wellbeing does not appear to be a priority. The organization suffers from alarmingly high turnover, with a steady exodus of talented professionals who are driven away by the toxic environment. Witnessing so many capable individuals depart is disheartening and indicative of a deeper, unaddressed cultural flaw. The company also struggles significantly with effective people management. A large portion of the management team lacks the skills and empathy necessary to lead and support others, further contributing to retention challenges and a generally unsupportive atmosphere. There is a marked absence of human resources best practices, and the organizational approach is rigidly centralized, with decision-making concentrated in France and little room for local insight, adaptation, or innovation. Suggestions for improvement are routinely ignored, and concerns are often met with indifference. The prevailing attitude is one of concealment rather than resolution—issues are swept under the rug rather than addressed transparently. Employees are made to feel invisible, their contributions diminished, and their mental health neglected. In light of these experiences, I would strongly advise prospective candidates to approach this company with caution. While every workplace has its challenges, the consistent and widespread nature of these issues suggests deep-rooted organizational dysfunction. I, along with many others who have since left, would not recommend pursuing a position here.
