Pros

Working at Big Red Recruitment is genuinely rewarding. It’s a place where people are encouraged to grow, take ownership, and deliver meaningful work rather than just filling roles. The culture is built on honesty, accountability, and supporting one another, and that shows in both how we treat candidates and how we operate internally. Feedback is welcomed, successes are celebrated as a team, and doing the right thing always comes before taking the easy option. There’s real pride in the work we do, and a shared belief that positive outcomes for clients and candidates matter. Expectations are high, but so is the support to reach them. Big Red feels like a team that’s truly invested in doing great work and helping each other succeed. Hybrid working, incentives that matter to the team, a great working environment.

Pros

Was on extended sick leave a couple of times within a year of being with the company. Could not have been more supported by my employers throughout the process. Close-knit team. Would happily consider any of my colleagues actual friends. Get results! Team is very successful, on an individual basis I have the advice and support I need to hit my targets. Very flexible working environment, have to WFH sometimes, no-one looking over my shoulder to check how often I am in the office as long as the work gets done. Really mature working environment: No big egos, can go to anyone for help. Responsible. have a coherent charity outreach program that we actually deliver on.

Cons

Recruitment is not without some pressure, but the rewards outweigh that in my opinion. Small office, fewer than 20 of us. May not suit everyone. Nature of the work may require working beyond office hours from time to time.
