Where to begin? Completely toxic work environment stemming from upper management's complete lack of planning, transparency, respect for their staff, and communication. They treat staff like children, or worse yet robots expected to work 10 hours a day with way below average pay (especially for west LA) and little to no respect for their professional opinion. It's do as I say and work faster. After risking your health coming into a completely overpacked lab space during the entire pandemic, you'll just be told to work harder by the CEO. Managers are completely out of touch with what it's like to actually work at the lab level, or they just don't care. Favoritism is rampant and you won't get a raise or promotion unless you're a total yes person willing to break your back for the company. Stay away from Innovation. It's not the exciting Beyond Meat experience you see in the news.
