Pros
Some of the clinical supervisors are nice and helpful. The bonds you build with families make the job very fulfilling.
Cons
Extreme lack of communication from scheduling department and lack of professionalism. No feedback provided unless requested (I’ve worked here 7 months). Training is rushed (3-4 days of online training) and you’re essentially thrown in afterwards. If you’re afraid to ask questions you won’t make it far in this role as it requires a lot of learning as you go due to the lack of quality training they provide. BCBA’s don’t seem to have a passion for what they do, but they’re pretty nice overall. I’ve only met 1 good BCBA who takes her role seriously and provided great feedback during sessions, shout out to Katie! Hours vary of course, but scheduling makes no effort to ensure you’re getting the hours you deserve as they drag their feet regarding replacing clients who end services or age out. I’ve heard from employees and even clients that Heather (scheduler) is close with the CEO (Stephanie) so I doubt they will ever replace her, but she does not represent the company very well and will be the death of BBC. Also, I’ve complained about scheduling to HR and they sent me an email to schedule a phone call then never responded when I provided them with my availability.
