Pros

Pay was nice. People were nice, Many wato communicate or get updates.

Cons

Took a long time to get sessions. You had to bid for sessions. Sometimes you get them sometimes you didn’t. Inconsistency with getting work. Then they did partnerships with other companies. I had tech issues but knew he content. I was unfairly rated by by one company rep multiple times. The last time I was rated off of a statement they unfairly took as something negative I said to the participants. Other comoany rep criticized me in my feedback even though my overall success score with participants was high. BL let me go stating the other company didn't want me anymore due to low scoring. When I inquired for more info, they claimed they didn’t have any contractual work for the upcoming year. Plus, more people got let go it seems like. I feel like partnerships shouldn’t determine if people get fired just remove them from that program and allow the facilitator to facilitate other programs. Be careful with doing partnerships if working for BL. Not recommending to others. Lastly, getting paid is another problem they constantly claim “there are issues with payroll” even though you wait almost a month and a half to get paid after doing the work.

Pros

In general, the school clients are lovely to work with and some of the other contractors are highly skilled and professional.

Cons

I can't stress this enough: If you are a contractor, do NOT sign on with this company. In the past year, they have never paid on time according to the contract or scope of work. They often do not reimburse contractors for travel for months at a time. They are currently three months behind on payments to contractors. There is a great underlying insecurity at the company. Every time a pay period comes around, contractors wonder if they will be paid. The answer? No. For the past 6 months, contractors receive mass emails saying when they MIGHT be paid and these dates often come and go with no payment. There is no direct message from the company's leadership. Bottom line: if you want to feel valued as worker AND you want to get compensated for your labor, as agreed, steer clear of this organization.
