It’s…a stepping stone, but it should be a career path. - Delivery Agent Best Buy Employee Review

Pros

You get to meet some really rad people. You make great friends and earn some sick stories. You can pretty much tell if appliances will fit into any future home you may have. Discount is..better than what you pay most places. Usually you are off early (but that comes with loosing hours too). Not a pro but not a con I guess. Kinda grey flag area.

Cons

Management sucks, but not as individuals. They unfortunately are just cogs in the corporate hierarchy. CEO is running the company into the ground. Tech isn’t even part of the job anymore. We are basically glorified salesmen/saleswomen regardless of the position. You realize that you aren’t a human when it comes to the eyes of the consumer. You are a slave to their will, regardless of what they paid for.

Pros

-It's a job that is available in most locations.

Cons

-The company, on a corporate level, doesn't seem to grasp the value of the talent they have. - Close ties with Citibank subvert the importance of product knowledge, customer service, and revenue for credit card sales. - Daily Performance check-ins are overbearing and myopic. - Tends to burnout motivated employees with false carrots and hollow promises. - Pay's terrible, and rides the line of predatory at times.
