Pros

Discount is good. Pay is competitive. Generally coworkers are great. Many locations to work at, especially convenient if you are wanting to move to a different city or location. Good assortment of accommodation programs from vendors as well, Intel, Samsung, Apple, Sony, many others all provide deals to Best Buy associates.

Cons

Politics. You MUST kiss rear to go anywhere. Results do not mean anything. Hypocrisy. At all the stores I've been to, management at a store and district level (and as far I know, territory and above) do not subscribe to their own company values. They hire externally and pay MUCH more to external candidates than to more qualified and trained internal candidates for positions.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
